The main purpose of this Digital Tent is to provide links to materials about Guyanese history, national heritage and the experiences of Guyanese people produced by Guyanese and non-Guyanese. In addition to this, the website provides access to reading materials to support reading literacy amongst Guyanese children, youth, and teenagers. It includes general literacy materials, educational activities and links to additional resources. The Digital Tent was designed by a team of Ohio University students, under the supervision of Professor Vibert C. Cambridge.

Mission Statement: To increase the diffusion of new knowledge regarding Guyana's culture, history, and people.
